Liz is a registered Clinical Psychologist who is member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Liz is committed to using evidence-based interventions, and tailoring her practice to the presenting needs of clients.
Liz is passionate about the interactions between neurological and psychological factors, and the flow-on effects for the mind and body. Liz takes a holistic approach in her therapy and works to identify the intricate weave of mental, emotional, chemical, physical, social, and spiritual factors in each individual. Intergration in these areas makes healing possible. Liz understands when our system is out of balance, our overall well-being is interupted, which has the potential to challenge our psychological health. Liz enjoys harnessing the mind and body's life-long malleable nature and innate healing processes to empower people to identify and re-wire unhelpful patterns and create stronger more helpful ones. Liz is passionate about the evolution of a healthy individual self, and empowering individuals to re-discover their true essence and experience greater internal clarity. Liz has been trained in the Medical Model, having completed a Masters in Clinical Psychology, but also has a strong appreciation for alternative medicine, eastern philosophies and the transpersonal. Liz considers a multimodal approach in her treatment planning.
By nurturing ourselves holistically, mind, body and spirit, we harness our own innate healing potential.
